I guess the second owner after me figured out they didn’t want to spend the money to make it right either. That’s two owners in about one year...
Still looking good!
I had big plans for the car, but I too didn’t want to spend the money to EFI or LS swap the car to make it less temperamental. This is a true ‘carb’ guys type of car. It needs some true TLC to make it easy to drive.
When I sold the car it was nearly drivable. It did need some taller gears as the 4.10 made any drive over 55mph an expensive and loud adventure at about 3500rpm.
I hope the seller gets his price and it finds someone who will do it right. It’s listed at about the same price I sold it for with double the mileage (500 now!).

That’s absolutely a damn fine looking car. I wish mine looked half as good. I hope it goes to a good home.

That was the big perk to the car - it was mint. The paint was expensive and done correctly. The interior was all new. Everything was done correct. The engine is just a batshit crazy, temperamental beast. It loves high rpms and won’t idle or drive politely. I was concerned that an off the shelf EFI kit wouldn’t solve it and I was already far upside down in the build. Most money I’ve ever lost on a car...

It sounds like the exact opposite of mine. My car has shit body work, various body parts are different colors, and the interior sucks, but the engine just works. Not powerfully mind you, but it works.

The journey to fix up a muscle car is most of the adventure. It is more costly than buying a 90% complete car to finish... or even a totally finished car. Weird market... I hated everything about it, except that the car got the attention and thumbs up of everyone.

Yeah, mine was an $800 car that I pulled out of a field so it needed plenty but it’s cheaper than a therapist and keeps me off the streets.

Awesome! It’s been cheap therapy!

Is the engine the reason it has so few miles?

Probably. I sold it in a condition so nice that it was TOO nice to drive. Every time I’d drive it something went wrong for me to spend more money. It was dialed in when I got rid of it, granted I was superstitious at the end.
